Quiz Masters

The quiz master reads questions, recognizes contestants, and helps keep the competition orderly and fair.

Answering

Contestants should wait to be recognized, answer clearly, and complete answers within the allotted time.

Scoring

• Correct answers receive points.
• Errors may result in penalties according to quiz rules.
• Final scores determine placement.

Quoting Scripture

When quoting is required, contestants should quote accurately from the assigned passage and translation used by the rally.

Timeouts

Timeouts may be used according to quiz guidelines and at the discretion of the quiz officials.

Conduct

All participants are expected to show good sportsmanship, respect officials, and maintain a Christ-honoring spirit.

Awards

Awards and recognition may be given for team placement, individual performance, and Scripture knowledge.
